The ingredients needed to make Mee goreng:
  1. Make ready 300 g egg noodles
  2. Prepare 3 tbsp veg oil
  3. Take 5 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  4. Take 300 g chicken breast (thinly sliced)

  6. Get 3 tbsp chili paste
  7. Take 4 tbsp light soya sauce
  8. Make ready 4 tbsp dark soya sauce

  10. Take 1.5 tbsp white vinegar
  11. Prepare 75 g sweet potato (pureed and optional)
  12. Prepare 2 eggs
  13. Prepare 200 g beansprouts
  14. Take 100 g spinach
  15. Get 1 lime (cut into wedges) (optional)

Stir-fry until egg is lightly set. Add noodles, bean sprout, ketchup, and chili sauce. Salt, sugar, and pepper stir-fry until. Mee Goreng means fried noodles in Malaysian language.

Steps to make Mee goreng:
  1. Boil dried chilies in boiling water for 10 mins and blend them into paste, set aside.
  2. In a pot, boil the potatoes until soft. Set aside.
  3. Prepare the noodles as the package instructions.
  4. In another pan, add the eggs and scramble them and cook until 70% done. Set aside.
  5. Heat a frying wok over high heat. Add the oil and garlic until fragrant.
  6. Add the chicken and squid and cook for 4 mins.
  7. Now add chili paste and fry for a min.
  8. Add the noodles, both soya sauce, ketchup, vinegar, sweet potato puree and fry for 4 mins.
  9. Add egg, bean sprouts, spinach, potatoes and mix well.
  10. Serve with wedge of lime.
